David Etherington serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Amoria Group, a global integrated project and human capital services business encompassing Amoria Bond and Coalesce Management Consulting. With over 30 years in executive roles, David is known for driving growth, mentoring leadership, and creating value in global, multi-sector organisations. Prior to becoming CEO, he spent three years as a board advisor and non-executive director, shaping Amoria Group’s strategic direction, board governance, and leadership development.
David’s career began at TechPartners International, where he gained early exposure to private equity-backed business dynamics, eventually contributing to the company’s successful exit to Harvey Nash in 2000. He went on to leadership roles in other PE-backed firms, including White & Nunn, Astbury Marsden, and NP Group, where he led a management buyout. His experience at Capita Resourcing, a publicly traded company, further broadened his understanding of governance and stakeholder dynamics in a corporate setting.
In 2016, David launched his own advisory practice, partnering with high-growth staffing and technology companies to drive innovation and unlock shareholder value, as well as enable effective leadership teams. His clients included Henderson Scott, Trinnovo Group, Insight Recruitment, Drax Group, and NTT Data, and he continues as Non-Executive Chair of Triage, a change agent in emerging markets dedicated to ending hunger and poverty. Known for his direct, results-driven approach, David remains committed to building resilient, purpose-led businesses that progress lives and deliver impact in global STEM markets.
