We were delighted to welcome Mr Paul Griffiths DL, the Queen’s Vice Lord Lieutenant for Greater Manchester to our Manchester office today for the formal presentation of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2017, won in the category of ‘International Trade’. Following a tour of the office led by Founding MD Daniel Daw, the presentation of the Award was made by Mr Griffiths during a reception attended by Amoria Bond’s senior team in nearby Didsbury House Hotel.
Daniel Daw said afterwards, ‘We are delighted to have been presented with this Award which recognises our significant global business growth through successfully exporting value-add recruitment services. As a Manchester-born company we are proud to be one of only 11 companies from the North West, and 103 across the United Kingdom, to be recognised in the category of International Trade in 2017. Since our establishment in 2006, Amoria Bond has grown into a truly international business. We employ over 20 nationalities across our 4 international offices, and last year we recruited into 39 countries around the world. Crucially, we’ve remained committed to our business mission and values since day 1 which has enabled us to recruit, develop and retain some of the most talented recruiters in our industry who provide a world-class service to our clients.’
Amoria Bond were selected by Her Majesty the Queen and the Prime Minister for their “outstanding short term growth in overseas sales in the 3 years up until 2015”. Over that period, Amoria Bond recorded an increase in turnover of +62%, with overseas sales accounting for more than 53% of total business-sales by 2015. The company has successfully continued to deliver year-on-year sales growth over 2016 and into 2017 year-to-date, and overseas sales now accounts for over 61% of their total business turnover.
