Following our recent announcement that we have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, Amoria Bond are delighted to announce that we have been further recognised with a bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS)!
The ERS recognises commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel. It is only open to those who have signed the Armed Forces Covenant and demonstrated they are an armed forces-friendly organisation and are open to employing reservists, armed forces veterans (including the wounded, injured and sick), cadet instructors and military spouses/partners.
Amoria Bond are 100% committed to our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, which includes our pledge to the Armed Forces. Our internal advocates, ex-armed forces members Aaron Moon, Tom Rigby, Max Gee and Scott Waldron have not only aided in the process of signing the covenant but already held educational and advocational activities for the business, including hosting an open discussion session with our staff on Remembrance Day, and discussing their own experiences during and after their time in the armed forces in this eye-opening video:
People & ESG Director Natasha Crump said:
“Huge thanks to those involved for your efforts to date in advocating and educating us in this area so we can take action as a company to support current and future ex-forces employees, and in the future also candidates across our sectors.
I’m looking forward to further action and events in line with our covenant pledge.”
