Promoting Religious Diversity in the Workplace: What Can Businesses Do?
How can businesses promote religious diversity in the workplace?
At the heart of our purpose is a belief that everyone deserves respect and equal opportunity to fulfil their potential and progress their lives — regardless of our backgrounds and differences. EED&I is an ongoing journey and we’re in it for the long haul, and we are proud that our award-winning EED&I strategy has been recognised both within our industry and beyond. We don’t pretend to be perfect, but we are 100% committed and hold ourselves fully accountable to delivering sustainable, meaningful action-led change internally, within the recruitment industry we love, and across the STEM sectors we serve.
ASCEND is designed to attract, retain and progress more women across the Amoria Bond Group regardless of seniority, tenure or role. Now a global programme, ASCEND offers a range of events both locally and group-wide; training, coaching and 121 mentoring; as well as hosting guest speakers, panel events and even external industry events.
Our Inclusion Advocates are passionate colleagues from across the Group committed to ensuring we provide a truly inclusive working environment for all employees, regardless of our backgrounds or differences. The team help shape our EED&I strategy and Inclusion Calendar of local and companywide events.
Our Mental Health & Wellbeing LMS zone provides a range of mental-health & wellbeing resources to support employees 24/7. We also host finanical wellbeing webinars and monthly wellbeing workshops led by external experts, and Mental Health First Aiders are on-hand across our offices.
Family@AmoriaBond aims to ensure working parents and carers feel welcome and included: from family Fun Days to our popular school-holiday competitions. 'Family-Fit Accredited' we offer a range of inclusive, family-friendly policies and enhanced Family-Forming benefits.
Our local office Culture Committees enable employees to shape and influence their local office culture and working environment, organise inclusive social and team-sports events, CSR initiatives and much more.
Employees can swap two religious national holidays for days with significant meaning to their own personal faith or religion. We also provide multi-faith prayer and meditation rooms.
We are a founding member of Programme One, a collaborative initiative that aims to remove barriers to black talent in our industry and help attract, retain and progress more black recruiters. The programme commits us to four key action-orientated objectives including employee mentoring and companywide training.
Hosted by colleagues across the business, Lean In circles are a great way for female employees across our offices to meet up, discuss their goals and challenges, support each other and share best practice.
Currently led by our Manchester E,D&I Committee, Let's Talk offers employees a safe environment to discuss topics and issues that matter to them - these have included living with cancer, disability in work, race and gender.
Across Amoria Group we are committed to providing a truly diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees and championing diversity and inclusion within the recruitment industry and the wider STEM industries we operate in. Led by our Chief People & ESG Officer, Natasha Crump, EED&I is a strategic priority that's championed and embedded across the entire Group.

We believe transparency drives accountability, that's why we produce and publish an annual Gender Pay Report.
Gender Pay Parity is an important area of focus for us as a business, and we expect to see ongoing progress aligned with our continuously improving gender balance in new starters, promotions and leavers, which will see more women progressing into senior and leadership roles.
